Mira Bertolino

Mira Bella Bertolino, age 17, born June 28, 2005, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin, passed away on October 26, 2022. She is survived by her father and mother, Marc and Sarah, brothers Elias and Jonah, and countless other family and friends who loved and adored her immensely. Mira loved walks, especially when she hit the speed bumps and when the wind blew in her face. She had one special musical light toy that always cheered her up without fail. She always wanted to move, move, move; particularly when her dad did tireless laps around the house in her chair. She was known affectionately for her “happy claps” and “dragons.” Over the years, she was dearly cared for by so many great teachers, therapists and support staff at Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired, Britain Development, Oak Park Carpenter Elementary, Hocker Grove Middle School and Shawnee Mission West High School. Words cannot express how much Mira will be missed and her family is grateful for all the support they have received.
