Alice R. Marvin, age 82, of Overland Park, passed away on October 25, 2014 at home. Visitation will be held from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Johnson County Chapel. Funeral will follow at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gentiva Hospice Foundation, 11880 College Blvd. Suite 4A, Overland Park, KS 66210.
Alice was born June 26, 1932 in Corder, MO to Edwin and Hettie Jones.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Marvin. She is survived by her son, Robert L. Marvin Jr. and Lacy Newberry, daughter Lynne R. Borders and husband Scott, 3 grandchildren, Jenny Houser and husband Joel, Melissa Steuber and Zachary Marvin. As well as 3 great grandchildren.
