Andrew "Drew" Bowman Bodenhausen, 28, passed away on Monday August 5, 2013 at Overland Park Regional Hospital in Overland Park, KS. He was born November 19, 1984 in St Joseph, MO to Brian and Lisa Bodenhausen.
Drew grew up in Cosby, Missouri. Always devoted, he gave his life to the Lord at the young age of four. Drew attended Savannah High School his freshman year until his family relocated to Stilwell, KS where he graduated from Blue Valley West High School in 2003. After graduating, he began a career in Financial Services and was later employed as Vice President of Trinity Roofing, Aurora, Colorado. Drew was engaged to the love of his life, Abby Hudson, and planned to be married on January 11, 2014.
Drew was an outgoing, fun loving individual who was an inspiration to everyone he met. He was passionate about life and lived each day to its fullest. He loved hunting, fishing and snow skiing yet valued faith, family and friendship above all. Drew loved bringing joy to others. The consummate big brother, Drew adored his siblings and put their needs before his own. He had the ability to light up a room without being the center of attention. Although we miss him terribly, his smile, love and laughter will live on in our hearts forever.
