Anita Ann Bradley ‘NeNe’ was granted her angel wings on December 13, 2017. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Although she was so tiny and frail, she gave us all such courage and hope, and reminded us of the preciousness of life.
Anita was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 30, 1942 to parents Edward Patton Bradley and Dorothy Grace (Lind) Bradley. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bradley.
Anita is survived by her daughter, Christine Daniel; three grandsons, Joshua Daniel (Sara), Mitchell Daniel and Cole Daniel; Great Grandson, Lawson Daniel; two cousins, Dot Kline and Jo Green; and lifelong friend, Dixie Pennington Creason, along with many friends that she considered family.
Anita graduated from Shawnee Mission North and attended the University of Kansas. She spent many years of her life traveling, living in fourteen states, and Canada, although Prairie Village was always home to her. She was happy to be back in Kansas, enjoying her three Grandsons, family and friends. Anita retired from PCG in 2009 after 21 years.
Service will be held at Johnson County Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 19th at 1:00 with burial immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bonner Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 332, Bonner Springs, KS 66012 or the Arthritis Foundation, 1900 W 75th St #200, Prairie Village, KS 66208.
She will be remembered: Our angel that lived, laughed and loved.
