Anna White, 73 of Mission, Kansas, passed away peacefully November 12, 2009 after a difficult struggle with her health. She was born March 25, 1936 to Lester and Lola (Nations) Woodall in Macks Creek, Missouri. Anna was raised and graduated from high school in Macks Creek.
She married her husband, Willard White, March 10, 1953 in Macks Creek, Mo where they resided for sixteen years. Anna, her husband Willard, and their children moved to Mission, Ks in 1969 where she’s resided since. Anna dedicated her life to caring for her family.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband Willard; her parents, Lola and Lester; brother, Sherman Woodall; brother, Billy Woodall; brother, Arnold Woodall; sister, June Shiek; and sister, Edith North.
She is survived by children, Lisa (Paul) Cullen, Billy (Gina) White, John (Pam) White, and Melanie (Chris) McGirr. She loved her grandchildren Dori White, Kaitlyn White, Mike White, Alex McGirr, and Kylee McGirr. She is also survived by her sisters, Dee (Paul) Krahenbuhl and Bonnie (Bill) Husong.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M., with the funeral service immediately following at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, November 15, 2009 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas. Interment in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.
