Anne Shelton Beadle, 68, of Olathe, Kansas slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus at 5pm on Thursday, June, 22nd, 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri after a long battle against multiple illnesses.
Anne was born in Kansas City, Missouri to the late John Edwin (Ed) and Olga Meyn Shelton on September 5, 1948. Anne graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School and attended Kansas City Kansas Community College, where she studied education On October 19th, 1968, she married the late Don B Beadle. While raising her own family, Anne worked in her home as a childcare provider, as well as fostering several children as needed. More recently, she worked for her daughter at garden Gate Daycare for most of the past 23 years.
Anne is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Philip) Boyer of Shawnee, Kansas; her son Jonathan (Beth) Beadle of Olathe Kansas; her brothers John Edwin (Jack) Shelton Jr. of The Woodlands, Texas; Bob Shelton of Cedar City, Utah; and Doug Shelton of Del Mar, California; various nieces and nephews; and the many families of Garden Gate Daycare, who she considered her own.
Visitation is Tuesday, June 27, 9-10:30AM, service 10:30AM, at Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas 66210. Interment will follow at Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens, 23215 West 75th Street, Shawnee, Kansas. Children of all ages are encouraged to attend the services.
She will be missed.
