Anne Tschudy Jackson, 53, passed away April 20, 2009, at home. Anne was born May, 24, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Gano Hobart Pearson and the late Jay Tschudy, Jr. She attended The Barstow School, Sweet Briar College and graduated from the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Anne was a former member of the Saddle and Sirloin club, where she became an accomplished equestrian. Her pets were important to her. She had a lifelong interest in the arts and enjoyed painting and jewelry making. She owned Anne Jackson’s in Prairie Village, Kans. Anne was loved by her family and friends. Above all, she was a devoted wife and mother.
Anne is survived by her children, Katherine Jackson (Kay) of Philadelphia, Penn; Philip Jackson (Phil), and Henry Jackson (Hank); her husband, Eddie Marcano; her mother, Gano Pearson; and her sister, Gano Haine of Half Moon Bay, Ca.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 P.M., Saturday, April 25, 2009 at Second Presbyterian Church, 318 E. 55th St., Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to The Barstow School, 11511 State Line Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64114.
