Mr. Audre Burks

Mr. Audre Charles Burks, 89, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Monday September 28, 2015 at Garden Terrace in Overland Park.  Audre was born August 7, 1926 in Arkansas City, Kansas to Homer Perry Burks and Bernace (Mintern) Burks.  He was a longtime resident of Overland Park.  He was in the US Army during WWII and remained in the National Reserves for 25years. He was a member of the VFW post in Overland Park and a longtime member of the Good Sam Camping Club.  Audre was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; children: Thomas Blandin, Dennis Blandin and Diana Brown; niece, Andrea Parsons; nephews:  Guy Burks and Ky Allen Weekly;  six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
