Mr. Austin Warning

Austin Eugene Warning, 71, Overland Park, KS, died Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Olathe Medical Center.
He was born December 3, 1935 near Taylor, MO, the son of Harry Frederick Warning and Florence Ethel Hornaday. Mr. Warning graduated from LaGrange, MO high school and served in Korea from 1954-1956. On December 28, 1957 he married Nellie Sue Ward in Knob Noster, MO. He worked for Phillips Petroleum Company as a service station dealer. He enjoyed fishing and bird hunting which was one of his favorite things to do especially with his sons and friends. He was also very proud of his hog farm. Mr. Warning was known for being a joker and a prankster and always ready for fun.
Surviving is Nellie Warning of the home, two sons; Dennis Michael Warning and wife Mary of Raytown, MO, David Bryan Warning, daughter; Karen Denise Lynde and husband James all of Overland Park, two sisters; Maxine Baum and husband Melvin of Keokuh, IA, Elsie Sherwood of La Grange, MO, a brother; William Warning of Sedalia, MO, four grandchildren; Jason Alan Modes, Aaron James Lynde, Gloria Marie Lynde and Valerie Ann Lynde, brother-in-law; John Ward of Fulton, MO, two sister-in-laws; Lorene Warning of Decatur, IL and Etta Constable of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, two brothers; Harry Leroy Warning, Paul Edward Warning and a sister; Naomi Lois Warning.
Graveside services will be 2 PM, Saturday at the Greer Cemetery near Warrensburg, MO. Visitation will be held from 6:00 ? 8:00 P.M., Friday at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS.
