Ms. Barbara Allison

Barbara A. Allison, 65, Overland Park, Kan., passed away August 16, 2010. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, at St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church, 12251 Antioch Rd., Overland Park, KS 66213. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the church. Barbara was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Leavenworth, Kan., to Robert W. and Vesta (Edmonds) Catenhauser. She was a long standing member of St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church and retired from government service after 30 years. Barbara loved her family and grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children, Curtis Allison, Cathie (Gary) Kearby, and son, Jeffrey (Candida) Allison; grandchildren, Kyle Kearby, Casey Kearby, Blake Kearby, Mitchel Kearby, Jacob Allison, Robert Allison; and siblings, Vesta Hayden, Colin Hayden, Curtis Catenhauser, and Christy Catenhauser.
