Barbara Jane Curtis, 1931 – 2013
Born Barbara Jane Thornbrue on 29, July 1931. Barbara married the love of her life, Edmund S. Curtis (Deceased), in 1949. Together they had three children, a son Steven Curtis, and two daughters Debi Lane and Marsha Thomberlin. Barbara was affectionately known as MeMe to her 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Barbara enjoyed a wonderful life full of laughter and advice giving to everyone she encountered. She will be sorely missed but will be reunited with her husband of 50 years. God's Speed Mom.
A visitation will be held from 9:30 – 10:00 am Friday, January 11, 2013 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS with graveside to follow at 10 am.
