Barbara Y. Whitfield, 91, Overland Park, KS, passed away August 10, 2016. Graveside service will be 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 12 at Johnson County Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS. Barbara was born November 7, 1924 in Excelsior Springs, MO to John Day and Viola Lee (Anderson) Bunn. She was a licensed practical nurse at Shawnee Mission Medical Center. In her memory, contributions may be made to Brookdale Hospice.
