Bart "Albert" Galioto, 93, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2008.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday, January 27, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 28, at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 7231 Mission Road. Entombment in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
Bart was born October 28, 1914, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He served on the European front during WWII, after which he worked for U.S. Dept. of Agriculture until retirement. He was preceded in death by his son, James. Survivors include his wife, Helen, of 67 years; daughter, Rosemary Wessely and son-in-law, James Wessely; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Bart's life motto was: "Family is everything."
