Benjamin Andrew Sparks

March 21, 1983 — November 4, 2020

Benjamin Andrew Sparks, loving son, brother and uncle, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2020 at the age of 37. Ben was born on March 21, 1983 to Michael and Diane Sparks.

Ben grew up in Leawood, Kan., and graduated from Blue Valley North High School in 2001. He went on to attend The University of Kansas and The University of Missouri–Kansas City. After working at Merit Packaging in Kansas City, Mo., for several years, Ben then joined Stouse, LLC., one of the largest wholesale specialty printers in the U.S., as an Account Manager in Gardner, Kan.

Ben had a fierce passion for cars that started as a toddler, one he and his dad enjoyed together. Ben loved sharing his passion and knowledge of cars with his adoring nephews, Cooper and Bennett. Ben was an ardent lover of all music and rarely passed up an opportunity to join friends or family at a concert. Ben enjoyed all sports, cheering on the Royals, Chiefs and his beloved Jayhawks basketball team. His greatest joy was laughing and spending time with his friends and family.

Ben is survived by his parents, Michael and Diane Sparks of Leawood, Kan., his sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and David English, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., his grandmother, Mary E. Roberts, of Wichita, Kan., in addition to his nephews and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
