Betty Klamm, 83, of Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2009. She was born Betty Crank on September 23, 1925 in Independence, MO, married Donald Klamm in 1947, and was a devoted wife and mother of three. She worked for the City of Overland Park in the planning department for 25 years, and then enjoyed retirement with her husband between their farm in Centerville, KS and home in Shawnee. Betty is survived by her daughter, Doncella and son-in-law, Steven Robertson; daughter, Debra and son-in-law, Thomas Kemp; son, Duane and daughter-in-law, Donna Klamm; and grandchildren, Stacey and Erin Robertson and Travis Kemp. Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf.
