Betty J. London, 71, passed away January 3, 2017. She was born June 18, 1945 the daughter of Harold and Grace (Spendal) Porter. Betty worked for RS Electric for over 20 years. She was known to love Neil Diamond and his concerts, loved sunflowers and travel to the Smokey Mountains. Betty was an avid giraffe collector and the family will be inviting all to receive one from her collection. She loved her family and her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lester London in 2001, her parents and sister, Judy Hines.
Survivors include her daughter, Lori Peterson (Paul), grandchildren, Rachel Peterson and Paul Peterson III, Brother and Sister-in-law, Peggy and Wayne London, sister-in-law Linda Cheek and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday at Johnson County Chapel, Overland Park with services at 10 AM Saturday at the Chapel. The family suggest contributions to the American Cancer Society.
