Her true passion was being a mother and grandmother and she nurtured all of those around her. Betty forever saw the best in others and was a steadfast wife, mother, sister, friend and she was a caring, loving and generous woman, with a ready smile and a great sense of humor. Betty was a member of Church of the Resurrection, Janet Boone Service Club, P.E.O, Young Matrons', and M&M's. Betty is preceded in death by her brother, Ted Bodwell, and her sisters, Sarah Fritz and Joan Dicker. She is survived by her husband, Raymond F. Pitman, and six children; Raymond F.
