Mrs. Betty Ryne

Betty Jane Ryne, 92, of Leawood, Kansas born December 8, 1917 went home December 14, 2009. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 16 from 6-8 pm at D.W. Newcomer’s Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Wayside Waifs.
Betty attended Northwestern University and is a champion fish breeder. She loved horse racing, the Chiefs, and most of all her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack and her beloved daughter Kathy Grazier. She is survived by her son Brian Henry and granddaughters Michelle, Lauren and Lisa. The family would like to give special thanks to Village Hospice.
