Betty Wilmoth, 90, Olathe, Kansas, passed away on March 30, 2015, surrounded by family at Santa Marta from Alzheimers.
Betty was born April 30, 1924, in Kansas City, Missouri to Glen and Clara Crawford Sr.  People who knew Betty knew of her love and devotion to family, along with her extraordinary baking skills.  She will be remembered for her contagious laughter and beautiful blue eyes.  Betty will always be “our sunshine”.
The family would like to thank the healthcare staff at Santa Marta for making Betty’s last six years the very best they could have possibly been.  You not only took excellent care of her physical needs, but you made her laugh and feel loved. The family would also like to thank Grace Hospice for the compassionate care and kindness that was provided the last month of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Clara, and three sisters. Betty is survived by her loving husband, Gene of 72 years; daughters Diana Wilmoth and Pam (Dan) Gough; grandchildren, Brett Hawkins, Erin (Johnny) Brockus; great-grandchildren, Wally and Wilson Brockus, one sister and a brother.
A visitation will be held from 4pm-6pm on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Johnson County Funeral Chapel and Memorial Gardens, 11200 Metcalf Ave Overland Park, Kansas.  A private family inurnment will take place in a personalized niche in Faith Indoor Mausoleum, located at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Myasthenia Gravis Association, 6400 Prospect Ave, Suite 300A, Kansas City, Missouri, 64132.  Fond memories and condolences for the family may be left at www.johnsouncountychapel.com
