Mrs. Betty Wright

Betty Jo Wright, 79, Overland Park, Kansas passed away Tuesday, August 14th at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
Betty was born October 19, 1927 in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a devoted member of Syncopettes Dance Group. Dancing was her passion.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jess Brown; mother; Lillie May Warford; and daughter, Karen J. Russell.
She is survived by her husband; William N. Wright; son, William Glynn Wright; sister, Mary Lou Zorn; grandchildren, Ronda Lee Hey, Billy B. Wright, Michael W. Wright; nieces, Jo Lynn Bogard and Donna Beecham.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 18, 2007 at D.W. Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park. Visitation will be held Friday evening at the chapel from 6-8 p.m. Family suggests contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 6800 W. 93rd St., Overland Park, Kansas 66212.
