Ms. Beverly Levine Ruth

Beverly Levine Ruth, 62, lost her courageous 13 year battle with cancer on January 24, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold & Bea Levine. She leaves behind her sisters, Marcia Ogren (Bob) and Sandy Stoneham (Clint, deceased). She also leaves behind her four children, Shawn Leonard (Stacy), Bryan Ruth (Rachel), Eric Ruth (Trish), and Andrea Johnson (Dave) fourteen beloved grandchildren, nephews, Michael Ogren and Scott and (Joy) Stoneham and Brock Stoneham, along with many cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.
Bev was born and raised in Kansas City, where she was fortunate to work in her chosen career of nursing, starting with her schooling at Research Medical Center and ending with her wonderful time at TEVA.
Beverly’s greatest joys were her children and grandchildren and her many, many friends. She will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 5 – 7:00, with service and burial on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 10:00 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. Family reception will follow at 1:00p.m. at Villa Ventura, 12100 wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO.
