1924-2008 Beverly Jeanne Miller, 84, passed away at Shawnee Mission Medical Center December 24.
After a lifetime in the Kansas City area Bev and her husband, Bob, retired to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas in 1989. They relocated to Lakeview Village in Lenexa in 2002. Bev loved to travel, write, loved music, theater, fishing, swimming, photography, computers, and most of all visiting with people. In her retirement years she wrote a book, including her opinions and many life memories. All of her married life, Bev was happy to consider herself a full time wife, mom and volunteer. She seldom said no to requests or needs for her to serve her God, her family, or her community. All her life she felt her "cup runneth over." She leaves memories of generations of ancestors and highlights well documented in both words and pictures.
Bev is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Bob, and children, daughter Marsha and husband Chip Farley, daughter Marilyn and partner Janalea Hoffman, and son Jim and wife Linda Miller, grandchildren, Jennifer and Jason King, Jason and Lara Farley, Bryan Farley, Lindsay and Paul Zubeck, Jamie, Bobby and Brett Miller, and a much anticipated great grandchild, Gwendolyn Grace Farley. Bev is also survived by her sister Bonnie Durham. Bev loved her family, she was friendly to everyone she came in contact with and she added cheerfulness wherever she went.
