Beverly A. Schmidt, 84, Leawood, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2009 at Cure' of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Rd., Leawood. A visitation will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Inurnment will take place, with family, at a later date in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

Bev and her twin brother, Richard were born March 13, 1925 to Otto W. and Geneva Schmidt. She served on the board of the family business, Carswell Manufacturing Co. and retired from Skelly Oil Co. She was an active member at Cure' of Ars and was a volunteer for Catholic Charities. She was an avid animal lover and cherished her dog Susie. Bev was much loved and will be truly missed by family and friends. Survivors include her brother, Richard O. and wife Jane; nephew, Richard O. Jr. and wife Gayle; nieces, Chris Kingsley and husband Karl and Kim Michale and husband Nick; great nieces and nephews, Brandie and Amanda Schmidt, Rich and Kandice Kingsley, and Kelly Jane and husband Jake Borrowski and Brodie Michale.
