Simpson, Beverly Nord. Passed away on October 7, 2012. Beverly is survived by her loving husband of 62 years Paul, daughters Heidi (Steve) and Rhondi, and son Brad. She leaves behind five granddaughters Elizabeth (Jeff), Sarah (Ron), Megan, Greta and Kirra. She also leaves behind five great grandchildren Tyler, Tia, Abigail, Sophia and Sydney and many friends and family. Beverly will be remembered for her ever-present smile, her love of family, children and of music. She was an elementary vocal music teacher in the Shawnee Mission School District for 16 years. Memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20th at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, 9300 Nall Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66207. 913.642.9100. Visitation following the service at the church. Private family interment in Buffalo, Minnesota at a later date. The family wishes to share its deepest gratitude for the tender loving care Beverly received from the staff of Senior Helpers, Crossroads Hospice and Emeritus at Overland Park. Memorial contributions can be made to Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, Overland Park, Kansas (address above) or to the Alzheimer's Association.
