Bill Collins, 49, Overland Park passed away May 18, 2010. A visitation/tribute will be held from 1-3 P.M. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kansas. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Bill was born February 2, 1961 in Kansas City, Missouri. Bill was a great friend and loving father with an incredible laugh and a style that was uniquely his own. He will be missed by his family, children, and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Tom.
Survivors include his wife, Rebecca (Becky) Hawes Collins; children, Casey, Cody, Tommy, and step-daughter, Ellie; mother and step-father, Sandi and Johnnie Henson; sisters, Kim O’Dell and Kari Watson; and one brother, Dave Collins.
