Billy "Bill" Edwards, 67, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Bill was born September 15, 1946, in Lebanon, MO, to Clifford and Dorothy Edwards. He graduated from Shawnee Mission West in 1964. He worked for 38 years in the forklift industry, retiring in 2006. Bill was an avid Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals and Jayhawk Basketball fan. He was a member of the Moose Club and loved to play pool.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronnie and Bobby.
Bill is survived by his wife of 17 years, Linda Edwards; four children, Traci, Bryan, Michael and Jeffery; and six grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS 66210. A private family inurnment will take place at the Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park.
