Billy D. Brumbaugh

Billy Dwayne Brumbaugh went to be with the lord on June 1, 2019.

He was born November 5, 1939 in Norborne, MO to Alfred and Ella Brumbaugh. He met his love at Stanley High School and was united in marriage to the love of his life Margaret K. Brumbaugh (Lowe) on August 15, 1956 at Morse Church.  Together they had five children: Billy Brumbaugh Jr., Darla Ruest, Rita Ware, Ronda Brumbaugh and Shawn Brumbaugh.

They moved to Olathe Kansas in 1971 where they currently reside and raised their children, enjoyed their grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bill worked at Vermeer Great Plains for nearly 40 years, always worked hard and took great pride in what he did. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandpa and papa. He was funny, kind, honorable, giving and greatly loved by many.

He will be remembered most for the simply beautiful person he was and for all he sacrificed, always giving to others. He always went out of his way to do for others. A good and faithful servant here on this earth who impacted many lives with his generosity.

He is survived by his beloved wife Margaret. Children Billy, Darla, Rita, Ronda and Shawn. 14 Grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held June 15, 2019 at Holiday Inn Express Suites. 12070 Strang Line Road Olathe, KS 66062 From 4pm to 7pm.
