Blake Shockley

Christopher Blake Shockley, 25, of Lenexa, passed away at home, January 20, 2018.

Blake was born December 15, 1992, in Merriam, Kansas. Blake was a wanderer who had aspirations of traveling the United States to places like Utah, Colorado, Arizona and the Virgin Islands.  He was an avid skateboarder and had enjoyed it throughout his teenage years and into adulthood. A collector of books who enjoyed reading in his free time. A kind heart who loved his family and his animals.

Our eldest son lost his battle with addiction. A struggle that had plagued him for far too many years. If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction please get help.  We speak of this today in hopes to save another family from the heartache and hole that has been left in our family by the loss of Blake. No one should have to feel the loss of a loved one gone too soon.

A memorial Service for Blake will be held Saturday, February 24th at 10:00 AM, Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave. Overland Park, KS.
