Robert L. Daniels (Bob), passed away at Overland Park Regional Medical Center on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

Bob was born to Tim and Rena Daniels of Ramsey, Illinois where he spent his childhood.  He later graduated from Eastern Illinois University. Shortly thereafter, Bob met and married Sandra L. Higgins, his wife of 60 years.  They moved to Overland Park, Kansas in 1971 to further his career at Navistar International and to raise their family.  He retired after over 30 successful years from the company.  They were both long-time and dedicated members of Lenexa Baptist Church where Bob served as a deacon.

Bob Daniels is survived by Sandy Daniels (wife), Todd Daniels (son) and Susan (wife), Angela Daniels (daughter) and his grandchildren: Taylor, Ryan, Alex and Katie Daniels, all whom he absolutely adored.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Rena Daniels and his sisters:  Lois Brown and Doris Crow of Ramsey Illinois.

A memorial service will be at 10:30am on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Lenexa Baptist Church (15320 W 87th St Pkwy, Lenexa, KS 66219).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Bob’s name to Lenexa Baptist Church, mailed to the above address.
