Bonadell (Bonnie) Rosberg, age 88 of Overland Park, died peacefully on September 14, 2015. Bonnie was born December 18, 1926 in Bethany, MO., the daughter of Margarett Musick and T.R. Youngman.
Bonnie thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and especially golf. She and husband Dick were among founding members of Brookridge Golf and Country Club, where they enjoyed years of activities and events with dear friends. Bonnie was an avid card player and an excellent bridge partner.
In 1955, Bonnie married the love of her life Richard H. Rosberg from Salina, KS. They lived in Wichita, KS briefly and soon moved to Johnson Co. where they remained the rest of their lives. Bonnie was a stay-at-home mom raising their two children while Dick traveled extensively as a salesman for Marmon Keystone.
She is survived by her two children, daughter Shelly Christ of Overland Park, her son Richard Rosberg and wife, Keren of Jacksonville Beach, FL. and two cherished grandchildren, Bryan Christ and Cali Rosberg.
A Celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, October 9, 2015 at Johnson County Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to K.C. Hospice, 1500 Meadow Lake Parkway, Ste 200, K.C., MO 64114.
