Brandy Tobiason

Brandy Renee Tobiason, 34, born November 5, 1981, died Thursday morning May 12th at Lee's Summit Medical Center. She is survived by her mother Sherry of Overland Park, her father Bernie of Shawnee, her brother Bryan and wife Cynthia and two nieces Christine and Caroline of Gardner, her Uncle Dan Biederman and cousin Nathan in Grand Forks, North Dakota and her 95 year old Great Aunt Maxine Slipsager of Blue Springs, Missouri.  Brandy loved to travel, whether it be a road trip to Branson or a cruise to Australia. She was in all 50 states and got to four continents in her 16 cruises. She loved reading her books, listening to her oldies music, working her jigsaw puzzles, playing on the computer and making everyone laugh by telling a joke. She loved eating out, mostly Mexican food, but anything with cheese was okay. She also loved gambling, it was more like playing video games to Brandy as she loved the lights, colors and sounds.  She was a star acolyte at Metropolitan Avenue United Methodist Church. Brandy knew the Lord and loved Him and is happy being with Him right now.  She might have been small of stature but she was full of personality and heart.  Everyone who knew her loved her and she touched everyone's heart.   She loved everyone she met. She will be sorely missed on Earth and a wonderful addition to Heaven. She received wonderful Care at Lee's Summit Medical Center. We are grateful for the care she received there.  Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Thursday, May 19 at Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Metropolitan Avenue United Methodist Church, 3730 Metropolitan Ave., Kansas City, KS.   Graveside services will follow at 1:30 PM at Johnson County Memorial Gardens.  Memorial contributions are suggested to VIP Quality Services, 863 N. Mart-way Drive, Olathe, KS 66061, Brandy’s last day service provider who treated her very well.
