Brian William Hausback, 51, passed away after a lengthy illness at his home in Prairie Village, Kansas on Monday, April 11, 2016. Its been said that its the character that's the strongest that God gives the most challenges to. This was certainly true with Brian. Strong in faith, hope and love Brian was able to endure years of pain and suffering and still remained confident that Our Lord was always with him, even to the very end.
A warm, compassionate, loving and intelligent man who was always creative whether it be in his art, his cooking or the pieces of furniture he refurbished under the name Bhback Designs. Only sidelined when his body would not let him create any more. He never resented this or even asked "why me"? Instead he placed his trust in the Lord as the many days turned into year after year and his dream to get back to what he does best kept getting further into the distance.
Born to loving parents who instilled into their ten children the true meaning of faith, family and their being there for each other, Brian had a lifetime of family gatherings that included many cousins, nieces and nephews and God children. It was the same family that was there to see him take his final steps toward heaven and the God he loved so dearly and placed his trust in so thoroughly. What a blessing it was to be there with Brian as he left the family he loved so much to be raised up into the glories of eternal paradise.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosemary Hausback and by his Godson, Daniel Hausback, Jr. He is survived by his sister and best friend, Antoinette Hausback, Kathleen Hausback, Mary Sue and Rolf Scherer, Frank and Mary Ann Hausback, John and Martha Hausback, Timothy Hausback, Joseph Hausback, Edward and Barbara Hausback, Daniel and Kim Hausback, and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren that he loved dearly.
We love you Brian and we will carry your love with us until it is our time to take the same steps toward our eternal paradise in heaven. Pray for us until we meet again. In Lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions to the Saint Philippine Duchesne Catholic Church in memory of Brian.
