Brian Sears, life-long Kansas City resident, lost his battle against cancer on the afternoon of May 9, 2015. He showed remarkable courage throughout his illness and was always optimistic. His kindness and bravery were an inspiration to others, making everyone around him feel special.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, Leslie E. Sears. He leaves behind his beloved mother, Rachel Sears, his brother and sister-in-law, David and LaWanna (Lou) Sears and his niece, Katie. He will have a private graveside service with full military honors at Johnson County Memorial Gardens in Overland Park, KS.
