Brock Barrett, 25, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2007.
Brock was born September 30, 1981, the son of Mike and Marialice (Todd) Barrett. Brock was a carpenter by trade and loved nature and the outdoors. He loved life and had a huge heart. He was a member of the Kansas City Flying Disc Club and enjoyed mountain and dirt biking.
Survivors include his parents and a brother, Eric Barrett. Brock will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Saturday at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel. While at the visitation, please take a moment to visit the Enduring Memories Booth to validate Brock's life by leaving a personal remembrance of Brock.
The family invites you to Rosedale Park at 41st and Mission Road, 11 a.m., Sunday to play a round of disc golf on Down Under and to share lunch at 2 p.m. at the park. After lunch the family also invites friends to follow to Sibley, Mo., to celebrate Brock by walking a labrinth (walking meditation) at 5:30 p.m. The family suggests planting something (of your choice) in Brock's memory.
