CARIDAD ARTIGAS
Caridad Artigas went to Christ’s arms on Tuesday, September 20, 2010. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22nd from 10 – 11 am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11822 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will follow starting at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Caridad was born on May 4, 1923 in Pinar Del Rio, Cuba. She was born to her parents Geronimo Rodriguez and Modesta Diaz Rodriguez and she was part of a large family of nine children. She worked for Our Lady Of Mercy for 29 years. Caridad was a very devoted mother, friend and sister. She will be missed by all. She loved life and she did it her way.
She leaves behind her husband of 64 years Jose, along with her daughter Lourdes Vosseller and her husband Charley, son Jose J. Artigas and wife Vicky as well as five grandchildren, Julia, John, Alex, Amanda and Ashley, and two great grandsons Adrius and Maximus. She also leaves behind three brothers and one sister, Raul, Leonor, Rogelio and Emilio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Holy Spirit Catholic Church or Our Lady of Mercy Country Home.
