Cathleen Luse

Cathleen Sue Luse, 56, of Stilwell, Kan., passed away on October 22, 2009, at the Kansas City Hospice House from breast cancer. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 27, at 7 p.m. at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, Kan. Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, MO 64145. Cathleen was born on June 2, 1953, in Kansas City, Kan. She was employed by the Blue Valley School District, where she was a para educator. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Gress, and infant grandchild Ian Gjerstad. Survivors include husband Dave Luse; daughters Barbara Gjerstad and Jennifer Luse; grandchildren Adrian and Annalise Gjerstad; mother, Georiga Gress; sister Linda Corbin and brother Joe Gress.
