Cedric E. Devin, Sr, age 78, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at The Kansas City Hospice House. He was born on April 3, 1934 in Rocky, OK the son of Mittice (Brown) and Ira Devin.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Beverly, of the home; son, Cedric, Jr. and wife Liz Devin, of Lawrence, KS ;daughter Karen Frieze and husband Craig of Leawood KS and four grandchildren, Ashton, Allison, Brookley and Kristen.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to The Kansas City Hospice House in honor of Cedric.
