Celia "Jane" Lloyd

Celia “Jane” Lloyd, 79, passed away January 30, 2025 in Overland Park, Kansas. She will be interred in Georgia National Cemetery at a future date next to her husband, Clabus.

Jane was born on March 19, 1945 in Earle, Arkansas, to Jewell and Janie (White) Marks. She worked in the hospitality industry for 60 years, often holding two or three additional jobs at the same time. She enjoyed reading, playing Bingo, going to yard sales, watching TV, and also had an extensive collection of elephants.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Clabus Lloyd; a sister, Dorothy Rogers, and a brother, Jim Marks. She is survived by her children, Angela Smith of Florida, and Billie Jo Ford of Independence; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Patsy Smith of Raytown; and a brother, Larry Marks of Independence; as well as nieces and nephews.
