Charles Christopher Keller, age 25, was born September 27, 1983 and passed away May 22, 2009.
Chuck grew up in Prairie Village, attending Prairie Elementary, St. Paul’s Day School, Indian Hills, and Shawnee Mission East. Chuck loved history, philosophy, and the history of science. At UMKC, Chuck excelled in all these topics and served as a student instructor. Chuck’s second love was the outdoors. He was an experienced outdoorsman and was a camper and counselor at Cheley Camps in Estes Park, Colorado. Here, he mountain biked and led younger campers on outcamps in the Rocky Mountains.
Chuck will be missed by his family, parents, Charles and Carol Keller; siblings, Jennifer and Andrew (Sarah); grandparents, Charles Keller and Margaret Iddings. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 27th at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas.
