Charles Donald Peterson

Charles D. Peterson 63, longtime Overland Park, KS resident and former Evanston, IL resident, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2023. Chuck is survived by his former wife, Carrie Mandelbaum, and their children, Mauri and Max Peterson. Loving brother to Maribeth (Mark) Schwartzhoff, Michael (Cathy) Peterson and Jan (Jim) O’Brien. Devoted uncle to Amanda (Alex), Ally (Adam), Davis (Kailey), Callie, Madi, Peyton and Kendall. Treasured great uncle to Austin, Carson and Hudson. Chuck was also loved and will be missed by all of his wonderful cousins, many friends and co-workers. As much as Chuck loved the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jayhawks, he was still loyal to his Chicago Cubs and Chicago Blackhawks. Work was an important part of who he was and he enjoyed what he did building relationships in the banking industry. Golf was one of his favorite past times and he spent many weekends on the course. His love for his kids and spending time with them was his main priority. All of his family and friends were what he held close to his heart. 

 

Memorial service Monday, April 24, 2023 at 1:00pm at Church of the Resurrection - Wesley Chapel, 13720 Roe Avenue, Leawood, KS 66225.
