Chris Studna MacDowell, age 87, of Overland Park transferred to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on January 3, 1924 in Burkburnett, Texas daughter of Faye C. Wright and William (Bill) French.
Preceding her in death was her husband Harry Studna who joined Jesus on October 13, 1961.
Survivors include a husband, 3 sons, a daughter, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, January 10 at D.W. Newcomer’s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf. A celebration of Chris’s life will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 11 at the chapel. Interment Johnson County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Church of the Harvest or City Union Mission.
