Christopher L. Larson, age 51, of Overland Park, KS passed away on Friday, August 5, 2011. He was born on October 9, 1959 in Topeka, KS, the son of Rosalee J. Lander and Ralph L. Larson. He was a graduate of Topeka High School and the University of Kansas with a degree in Business Administration. He had been in the insurance industry for many years and had a love of sports, bbq and of course the Kansas Jayhawks. He was greatly loved by his family and a large group of friends. Chris will be missed by his family and friends who will treasure all their memories of him.
Survivors include his father, Ralph L. Larson; mother, Rosalee J. Lander; brother, Laird Larson; sister, Theresa Larson and several cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Robin Todd Larson and one sister, Ingeborg Lee Larson.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 4041 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA, 22311.
