Christopher M. Odle, 35, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his home in Lee's Summit.
Christopher was born May 29, 1978, in Kansas City, MO and attended school in Wichita and Olathe. Chris was self-employed.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents and son, Zachary Odle.
Christopher is survived by his mother, JoAnn Odle, of Lee's Summit; father, Paul (Joyce) Odle, of Olathe; two daughters, Layla and Alexis Odle, of Overland Park; grandfather, Charles Christian, of McAlester, OK; three aunts, Jeanie (Mike) Stone, of Lee's Summit, Margie (Jerry) Rice, of Mustang, OK and Nancy (Don) Weddle, of Tulsa, OK; great aunt, Mildred Clifton, of Lenexa; stepbrother, Todd Phillips, of Centennial, CO; two stepsisters, Tracy Phillips, of Denver, CO and Jennifer Phillips, of Pomona, KS; and many loving cousins and friends.
A funeral service for Christopher will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons – Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS. Family will greet friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at the Johnson County Chapel. Cremation will take place following services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bank Midwest, dba Layla and Alexis Odle Education Fund, 14735 W 119th Street, Olathe, KS 66062.
