Christopher "Zimmer" Mead

Christopher Anthony “Zimmer” Mead, 50, Leawood, KS passed away Monday May 16, 2016 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center as the result of a massive heart attack.
Christopher was born in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1984. He lived in San Diego, California and Cave Creek, Arizona before returning to Leawood, Kansas three years ago. Chris is survived by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Lee Cochran; father and stepmother, Jack and Alyson Mead of Phoenix, AZ; grandmother, Wanda Mead; brother, John Zimmer and several half brothers and sisters. Chris’s wishes were that there would be no services and that his ashes be spread in the ocean in San Diego. If desired, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association in memory of Chris.
