Mrs. Clarice Phillips
November 4, 1914 — February 25, 2012
CLARICE M. PHILLIPS, 97, Olathe, formerly of Prairie Village and La Cygne, KS went home to be with her beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Saturday, February 25, 2012.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at D.W. Newcomer's Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Survivors include, three sons, Gerald L. Phillips and his wife, Roylene, William Z. Phillips and his wife, Ginny and James D. Phillips and wife, Sharon; two daughters, Joan A. Qualls and husband Bill, and Barbara S. Johnson and husband, Ron; 15 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Yale B. Phillips, parents; a sister; and two brothers; two grand children; Kevin O'Neil Phillips and Brandon Michael Averill.
Clarice spent her life loving and caring for others. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by many, especially by her family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Youthfront Camp Scholarships, City Union Mission, or to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
