She had lived in Shawnee, Kansas since 1956. The last 6 years at Shawnee Hills Senior Living.
The daughter of Otis and Coleda (Spangler) Staples was born August 19, 1928 in Burlington Junction, Mo.
She married Melvin D Cozad on March 15,1947. She had two sons Ryland D. (Wanda) Cozad of Shawnee,Ks and Steven W. Cozad of Kansas City,Ks . She had two grandchildren Ryland W. Cozad of Shawnee,Ks and Dion Edwards of Jacksonville,Fl. One great grandson and sister Sherry (Rev.A.J.) Kunde of Durand,Michigan.
Geri retired from Montgomery Wards credit dept. in 1991.
