CONCETTA ANN (CONNIE) SULLIVAN, 77, of Overland Park, KS passed away September 22, 2012.
Connie was the youngest of four children born to Guy and Margie Wilmot Cianciolo of St. Joseph, Missouri on April 24, 1935. After graduating from Convent of the Sacred Heart in St. Joseph, she married the love of her life, Frank Sullivan on September 10, 1955 and had 57 years of sharing their love of family, friends, travel, and a deep and devoted faith. She lived with Frank in Overland Park, Kansas; Denison, Iowa; Carroll, Iowa and Lincoln, Nebraska while raising their family.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brother Anthony Cianciolo; her sister Margie Francis; and a nephew Tony Francis.
Connie's greatest joys in life were her family, friends, and sports. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her happiness filled her with kindness and compassion for others as she bonded with everyone she met.
She is survived by her husband Frank; two daughters, LeAnn Hogan (Tim) Shawnee, KS and Jenny Sullivan Overland Park, KS; two sons, Patrick Sullivan (Pam) Salina, KS and Jay Sullivan Denver, CO; her sister, Rita Sarris St. Joseph, MO. She leaves behind her precious eight grandchildren and adorable seven and a half great-grandchildren, as well as many special nieces and nephews and dear friends.
A visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at Acension Catholic Church, 9510 West 127th Street, Overland Park, KS 66213, followed by a Funeral Mass at 6:30 p.m.. Private family inurnment will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Mount Olivet Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO.
