Connor William Mohr, 25, from Overland Park KS, left us too soon on July 8, 2017 at the Lake of The Ozarks while enjoying one of his great joys in life, fishing. Connor was born July 11th, 1991 to parents Jim Mohr and Penny Hardesty. Sister Ellie came along 18 months later. Connor was a bright blue-eyed boy, always ready for adventure with a heart for those around him. He was a protective loving father, a supportive brother, and a devoted son and friend. Connor was a leader and a giver of his time and talents. The Mohr family is a close playful clan that offered Connor the chance to enjoy life to the fullest; his great adventurous passions in life grew from time spent, fishing, water skiing and swimming at the Lake of the Ozarks, hanging out with his grandparents and family on their farm in Louisburg and ski trips to Colorado. To know Connor well, meant knowing all the Mohr’s and Hardesty’s well, as he embodied the kind, sensitive and playful nature of his family. What made Connor the happiest was his daughter Kylie; her bright blue eyes, loving nature and desire to make those around her happy keeps our Connor’s spirit alive. The family would appreciate prayers for Jim, Penny, Elisa, Kylie and Kylie’s Mom Diane Pritschet. For anyone wishing to donate to a fund for their daughter, Kylie Kae Mohr, please make checks out to the Kylie Kae Mohr fund. C/O Central Bank, 10300 Metcalf , Overland Park, KS 66212
Connor is survived by his parents, sister and Grandparents: Lowell and Kae Hardesty from Louisburg KS and Charles William “Bill’ and Nancy Mohr from Leawood, KS, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The service to honor Connor will be held Friday, July 14th, at 11am at Church of the Resurrection, 13720 Roe Ave. Leawood KS.
We will always carry you with us in our hearts
