Cynthia S. (Sally) Gibbens passed away Sat., Sept. 13, 2008 of natural causes.
Visitation will be 1-2 pm, Tuesday, Sept. 16 at DW Newcomer?s Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland Park, KS. Services will be follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens, Overland Park, KS.
Cynthia was born March 25, 1914 in Grayson Co., KY to John Edward and Annabelle Wilson. She was a graduate from Paseo High School and lived most of her life in Overland Park, KS. She was married to Hugh H. Gibbens over 60 years.
Cynthia is survived by daughter, Carol Anderson and husband, George of Bowie, MD; son, Jay Gibbens and wife, Linda of Olathe, KS; daughter, Dorothy A. Johannes of Overland Park, KS; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Olathe Medical Center Hospice.
