D. Frances Reichardt, age 86, Olathe, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007.
Frances was born November 23, 1921, to Jasper and Faye (Vestal) Turner in Denison, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed family and family gatherings around the holidays. She had numerous friends and loved bowling, swimming, playing Bingo, and gardening. Frances was a very devout Christian woman that was very active with child evangelism and counseling through the 700 club. She loved attending church and singing gospel music. Frances was loved by everyone she met and never considered anyone a stranger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold F. Reichhardt; brothers Dorsey and Paul Turner, and an infant sister. Survivors include her brother, Austin Turner; daughter Cheryl D. Clayton; son Paul Reichardt; daughter Jan LaMont; daughter Nancy Graves; grandchildren Eric, Rhonda, Jeff, Daniel, Lisa, Logan, Lydia, Olivia, and 11 great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at noon on Monday, December 3, at the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Chapel, 11200 Metcalf Ave. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. A gathering of family and friends will be held 11 a.m. to noon at the chapel preceding the service.
